Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, DOB May 28, 2023
If you're looking for a cat that lives for love, look no further than Bear! This handsome boy is the ultimate lap cat - he is affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when he's snuggled up beside or on his human! Whether he's meowing sweetly for pets or curling up on your lap the moment you sit down, Bear is all about companionship and closeness. He is also playful, curious, and constantly makes his foster family laugh with his morning zoomies.
He’s also incredibly food motivated, with a special love for wet food, so don’t be surprised if he comes running at the sound of any can opening! Add in a few toys (especially with catnip) and you’ve got one happy, playful kitty.
Bear is vocal, especially when he’s looking for attention or knows food is coming, and mostly in the mornings and evenings right before bed.
Bear would ideally join a home where he can continue to get lots of love and interaction, either as a single cat or - as his foster family suspects - with another friendly resident cat, given a proper introduction (he hasn’t been directly introduced to another cat in his foster home home, but he often reacts with curiosity/positively when he hears meows on the TV or phone, sometimes even looking around the room for a kitty). He’s got so much love to give, and his affectionate nature makes him a joy to have around!
His adopter(s) should make sure that Bear keeps up good dental hygiene and diet in order to keep gingivitis at bay.
Bear is the kind of cat that makes you feel loved every day, as he's always nearby and wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing (especially if cuddles are involved). He settled in very quickly in his foster home and has shown his foster family just how affectionate, trusting, and people-oriented he is. Whoever adopts him is getting a truly special companion!
