Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Michaelangelo (male) and Butterscotch (female).
Both of these kitties were rescued several months ago from a hectic parking lot, surrounded by busy roads. They have been given a chance for a better life.
Each are loving and appreciative kitties who found comfort in each other as they left their horrible past behind.
They are looking for a parent who will pamper them with their favorite food (Friskie's shreds), share food with them (e.g., make sure it is cat safe, no matter how much they beg!), give them back rubs while they eat, and provide them with a cat-friendly, calm, loving, indoor home with a tall cat post or two, toys, and a TV, tablet, or smartphone. Michaelangelo is fascinated by TV screens, including screen savers (e.g., moving fish). Laser toys are enjoyable, too.
Expect them to be shy at first, but know that you can easily gain their trust and confidence with food. If you are looking for gentle companions to fill your heart with knowing you've saved two lives, Michaelangelo and Butterscotch are waiting to dine with and adore you.
Notes:
Kitties are available separately as well. Both would do best with a companion cat. Michaelangelo loves lap time with pets; Butterscotch loves food time with pets.
Kitties are neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and chipped. Health records are provided, as are toys, bed/blanket, and current food.
Interested adopters will be asked to complete an application for review and arrange a meet and greet with the kitty at the potential adopter's home. We want to ensure kitties are a good match for the adopter and the home is a good match for the kitty(s).
Adopting a pet is a life-long commitment, through sickness and in health. We consider them family.
Please note that most new pets will need time to adjust and feel comfortable in their new environment. This is natural. Here is information on the 3-3-3 rule:
