My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She prefers action movies to romantic comedies. Jumping into a pond or climbing a mountain is more entertaining than shopping. Our city girl was found as a stray near the airport. Fostered in the country and enjoying the freedoms of rural living. She’s been exposed to horses, chickens.

She appears to be a Doberman mix with a docked tail and course coat. About 5 years old and 50 lbs.
Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on prevention.

FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners.

She was seen on the streets of Houston for a few weeks and thanks to Facebook, she was located and picked up. She did not have a microchip and after weeks of social media postings, we do not suspect anyone is looking for her - a Doberman loving family got her to rescue. She tested positive for hookworms and heartworms; treated now testing negative. Her body has clearly had puppies before and she has scars on her head, front teeth worn down (common finding for dogs chewing chains or rocks)

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: Volunteers Fueled by Caffeine and Compassion to help Care for Dogs in Today's Pet Crisis in Texas.

Our dogs come from at-risk shelters in TEXAS -focused on Fort Bend Co/Brazoria Co/Galveston Co/Harris Co., partnerships to help dogs in rural areas in South Texas and urgent Owner Surrenders due to loss or tragedy.

We are a small rescue and every things counts - every penny and each donation is a blessing. Most of the dogs require neuter, heartworm treatment and medications for various illness/injury before being cleared for adoption. Our dogs receive quality care in food, toys and hygiene while they recover and wait for forever homes.
