Washington Commanders’ Defensive End Jake Martin is helping out the big dogs this month with his 55 Rescue Drive! Jake is reducing my adoption fee to only $55!
Athena did so well in her temporary foster home. She`s so loving and cuddly. She enjoys playing with her toys and going on walks, walking at an easy pace. She’s very friendly with other people inside and outside the home. For the most part, she has a very chill and loving personality and just wants to be close to her people all the time.
Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, and our Athena is just as magical. She is SOOOO SWEET! She is so much fun to walk and play with. And when it comes time to snuggle, well this gorgeous pup leans right in and practically melts in your arms. So many volunteers really love this doggie, and you will too. She is such a dream dog, but she needs to be the only pet in a home....and honestly, she`s all the pet you need! please. Ready for a new best friend in your heart and home? Athena is waiting for you!!

Our doors are open for adoptions from 12 PM to 7 PM every day, offering you ample time to visit and meet your potential new companion. Please arrive no later than 6:30 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to interact with our adorable pups.
Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be sure to bring a leash for your new dog or a carrier for your new cat or small animal. Most animals are ready to go home with you right after you meet them!
Can't make it in person? No problem! We offer virtual adoptions for animals in foster homes. From the comfort of your own home, you can browse our pets online, set up virtual meet and greets, and even conduct adoption counseling sessions.
