Matilda is a tan, black, and white mixed breed puppy with energy to spare and personality for days! She’s extremely social, having been raised around both dogs and cats, and is already eating hard food with a bit of water mixed in. Potty training is in progress, and she’s getting the hang of it with her usual bold determination.

This little firecracker isn’t afraid of anything—fireworks, vacuums, and brooms are just new “toys” to chase and conquer. Matilda lives to play, wrestle, and explore, and she’ll happily steal anything she deems fun and stash it in her kennel like a mischievous little gremlin. Though not a fan of being kenneled, she’s quick to say sorry with a wagging tail and sweet, sit-on-your-feet apology routine. If you're looking for a playful, hilarious, and bold pup, Matilda’s your girl!

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
