My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bear, a charismatic canine with a heart full of joy. Bear`s spirit is undeniably infectious, radiating an energy that fills every room he enters. He`s a social butterfly, always eager to make friends, and his playful nature ensures he`s never short of companions. He loves nothing more than a good game of fetch or a brisk walk in the park. But don`t be fooled by his energetic demeanor, Bear also appreciates quiet moments, where he can simply enjoy the company of his favorite humans. His friendly personality and zest for life make him the perfect companion. Adopt Bear and discover the joy of sharing your life with a loyal, loving friend who will bring endless laughter, companionship, and happiness into your home.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
