__________
Meet these six adorable Hound/Lab mix puppies. Just 6 weeks old, they’re sweet, curious, and ready to find loving homes.
These beautiful puppies need a foster or adopter to help them get out of the shelter and into safe, loving homes.
These little ones had a rough start to life — they were found abandoned without their mother on a lonely forest service road. Despite that, they’ve proven to be resilient and friendly, with the classic Hound/Lab mix charm: smart, social, and always ready for a cuddle or adventure.
They’ve had their first DHPP vaccine and are starting to learn about the world around them. They’ll need families ready to continue their vaccinations, socialization, and training so they can grow into the amazing dogs they’re meant to be.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.
**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
