I lived in a home until my owner died. Then his kids surrendered me to a kill shelter. I was scared and alone and eventually was put on the kill list. I was saved by Kittyland and have lived here since. I am shy and timid in the shelter environment. I was once a loving lap cat who, with patience and understanding, could learn to be a loving lap cat again. If you catch her laying down and pet her before she can run she starts purring and rolls around helping you get all the right spots. She almost falls while doing this because she's so happy rolling around she's not paying attention. She loves to play with toys especially the strings on a stick. She is still very shy and will need time to come out of her shell to act like a normal cat.

We are a nonprofit organization that accepts owner surrenders, strays, mama cats with kittens, and orphaned kittens. We are a no-kill shelter so the cats and kittens are safe here until they are adopted. We partner with several adoption partners in the area to get the cats in front of potential adopters and in their forever homes.
