Meet Buddy the Elf - 30 Pounds of Goofy, Galloping Joy!!

No, not that Buddy the Elf - but this one! And this one might be even better (and he doesn't need maple syrup on spaghetti).

Buddy is a 10-month-old German Pinscher/Basenji (yes, he can bark but is normally very quiet) mix who's basically the lovechild of a weekend hiker, a stand-up comedian, and a professional snuggler. Weighing in at 30ish lbs, he's the perfect size for both Netflix marathons and off-leash camping adventures - and yes, he's mastered the art of name recall, which means... when you call him, he actually shows up (take that, toddlers).

This goofy little elf is:

- A total water bug (sprinklers? puddles? kiddie pool? He's in.)

- Dog-social and the life of the four-legged party

- Sweet, snuggly, and hilariously expressive

- A hiking buddy who sticks with his people like Velcro with legs

We don't know how he feels about cats or kids yet, but if they like laughter, tail wags, and the occasional zoomie, we're optimistic.
