My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau is an older gentleman who is desperately searching for a forever home in which he can live out the rest of his years. He is very sweet and relaxed both in his kennel and outside of it. He walks perfectly on a leash and does well in the car. Throughout the day, he is quiet, but does bark excitedly at feeding time.
Beau was surrendered to us to no fault of his own. He came in with another dog with whom he got along well, but the owner said he tends to be dog selective. Beau does love being the center of attention, though, and due to his old age, he may be best as an only dog.
Speaking of which, Beau is estimated to be about 11 years old, and he does have some medical issues in need of attention. He is deaf and has a bit of trouble getting around at times. He also has a skin condition and allergies that we are in the process of treating, but we know he would do much better with a foster or adopter that could provide more round-the-clock care.
Despite his age trying to slow him down, Beau is still a happy-go-lucky guy who keeps us smiling. He is full of personality and has such a gentle soul. We would love to see him find a home with someone who adores him as much as we do!
