Elliot is a tabby and likely Siamese mix, who was part of a hoarding situation. When the house was vacated, he was part of 10 indoor cats who suddenly found themselves outside with no one to care for them. The neighborhood came together in effort to find homes for them, and Elliot was pulled into rescue, along with his former roomie, Charles.
Elliot is friendly and wants to be loved. It's often harder for animals from hoarding situations to adjust, so he will need a quiet, patient and understanding forever family.
Stay tuned for updates as his foster mom finds out more about him.
If the cat is under the age of 1 year old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $165. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend, so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary, so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
