Effie is a sweet little black and white kitty who would like nothing more than to have a furrever home where she could relax and develop to her full potential. She will be a little shy at first but gets on well with other kitties. All Ayla's cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed. A home visit is required and there is a small adoption fee. We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
