My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver is a 5 year old neutered male that weighs 46 lbs. Likely a Lab/ Pit Bull mix! Fluffy tail! Is very kid and people friendly. Dog friendly, better with female dogs! Was found as a stray with a female dog. Not aggressive to cat in foster homes, but foster said he would likely chase a Cat. Foster was house training him. He is microchipped and Vaccinated. Crate trained for sure now. He is so calm! Calmest dog in our rescue. Walks well on a leash! Oliver deserves a loving home! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Oliver please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org

More about this rescue

We are a small group of volunteers that rescue pets with medical needs from a kill shelter. We treat them at our associated Vet clinic and make sure they are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Pets are then put up for adoption and we try and match them with the right owners. We give special priority to veterans and we begin service dog training while pets are with us. Pets are fostered in our homes or at the Veterinary Clinic until homes are found.
