My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cinnamon: Cinnamon is a 3-year-old hound mix who came to us as a stray after surviving severe chemical burns down her back. She has since healed, but her scars remain—a quiet reminder of everything she endured before finding safety. Despite her difficult past, Cinnamon’s spirit is gentle and loving. She is a very sweet girl who enjoys learning and already knows some basic commands. Cinnamon is food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both her and her people. She has a high energy level and would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of time to explore. Cinnamon does well with other dogs and has participated successfully in playgroups, showing friendly and social behavior. She may do well in a home with children, and while we are unsure how she would do with cats, she has shown a positive, eager-to-please nature. She is also potty trained, which helps make the transition into a new home smoother. Cinnamon has been through more than any dog should, yet she continues to trust and love. She is looking for a family who will see her not for her scars, but for her strength, sweetness, and the joyful companion she is ready to be.
