I adopted Jaylee, an estimated 5 year old black Labrador retriever from the humane society. She is a sweetheart who loves to be close to her person. She is housebroken but you have to look for her signs to go out as she doesn’t bark at all (not even once) since I’ve had her. She did well in her crate few times I’ve used it unless it’s storming then she scratches and paces. She sleeps in my bedroom and will pace during storms. This is why I’m looking to rehome her is due to her anxiety during thunderstorms. I’ve tried everything including thundershirt and calming chews but nothing seems to help. She is a loving, sweet dog but her anxiety is something I’m not able to handle on my own. She needs an experienced adopter preferably who is home a lot.
