Addey, born approximately 7/8/24, has a personality to match her beautiful looks. She has a fluffy tail, curly ear furnishings, a striking tabby coat, and very furry paw pads with impossibly long fur between them, perhaps reflecting Maine Coon in her background.
Addey is a friendly, social, and gentle girl who loves attention and pets - and makes a great foot warmer at night - not exactly needed in the summer, but welcome in the winter. She has a soft and gentle purr. Her photo reflects how happy she is to be inside and knows that she can just relax and enjoy life. (Actually, she also closes her eyes every time fosterer tries to take a photo!)
She has an interesting back story. She was found by an apartment manager's adult son in an empty apartment with her 5 kittens about a week old. (3 were very furry tabbies like her, the other 2 were short-haired.)
Initially the rescuer was willing to keep her as the "apartment complex kitty" as no one claimed her but, when we found out what a nice kitty she is, we decided she needed to become a Fluff Buddy so she could find her furever home.
She must have been chased by dogs in the apartment complex because she is VERY wary of dogs, even small ones like the fosterer's so no dogs in the household for this girl's comfort. Also, if she sees 2 kitties having a tiff, she will decide in an instant who is at fault - and launch herself at the 'guilty' one. Very protective kitty!
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
