Hi, I’m Meowy, a gorgeous grey girl with the softest fur and an even softer spirit. I came to FOHA with my lookalike friend Puffy (we’re so alike that she wore a pink collar just so people could tell us apart!). Puffy’s already leaning into pets and showing affection, but I’m taking my time to feel safe and settle in. I am starting to show my silly side and really like to play with toys, especially the interactive type toys!
New places can feel a little overwhelming for me, but I’m slowly starting to explore and watch the people around me. I’m a quiet soul at heart, and once I know I can trust you, I’ll let my gentle, loving side shine. All I need is patience, kindness, and a calm home where I can blossom at my own pace.

Cozy hideouts, soft blankets, quiet company, gentle voices, and watching the world from a safe perch.
🏡 What I’m Looking For:
A peaceful home with adults or older kids who understand shy cats and will let me set the pace. I’m open to meeting other cats and dogs—if you have them, FOHA will help with careful introductions to see if we’re a good match.

Home visit is virtual. We will also check with your most recent vet for current pets.

Walk-ins are welcome at the shelter Friday, Saturday or Sunday 12-5pm. If you submit an application ahead of time we will send you a link to sign up for an appointment Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
