My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Pointer mix
Male, 6 years old (estimated), 49 pounds

Freckles is a charming Pointer with the cutest speckled face and a heart of pure gold. This distinguished gentleman may have a few gray hairs, but he still greets every day with a tail wag and a sparkle in his eye.

Freckles loves going for walks and prancing around the yard where he can sniff to his heart's content, followed by long, lazy naps in a sunny spot (preferably right next to you!). He is friendly, mellow, and ready to soak up all the love you have to give. If you are looking for a loyal buddy to share your couch, your snacks, and your heart, Freckles is your guy. He bonds quickly to people and will do anything for a good scratch.

This sweet boy came to us from the San Jose Animal Care Center. They reached out when their shelter became overly full, knowing Freckles would thrive in a rescue dedicated to senior dogs. We are so glad he is here, and can't wait to help him find the loving home he deserves!
