Hey Y'all,

I am Ella and an absolutely beautiful female calico. I was rescued by a kind man and
his wife from life living with other cats and kittens behind a very busy gas station in
Grays Hill. Other kitties had been hit by vehicles so lucky for me and my 2 littermates, Tigger and Max, that we were rescued.

I was named after a little human that is smart, interesting and talented.

I can hold my own playing with my brothers, Max and Tigger. Boys will be boys but girls that have brothers grow up to be tough yet soft at the same time.

I am kid friendly. A small person named Ella who I play with decided that I should be named after her and I am very happy to have her name.

My delightful calico personality shines as well as my vibrant tricolored coat.
Calicos are sassy, spunky, bold, affectionate, loyal and independent and highly intelligent.

My breed likely originated from Egypt and traded along the Mediterranean. Calicos are Maryland’s state cat since 2001.
