Hello there, my name is Gin. I was found on the side of the Highway by an animal control officer who came to recover my mother and father‘s bodies They were unfortunately hit by a car and did not survive. it is unknown how long they had been there, but when I was found, I had a very large belly filled with parasites I had bleeding pads, I was severely dehydrated just hoping for someone to get me out of the heat and somewhere safe, the animal control officer then took me to my rescuer who spent the next few weeks, tending to my wounds and getting me healthy, and I am happy to report I am now in perfect health and I am old enough to find my own forever home! I am a very sweet laid-back puppy who just wants cuddles and affection. I don’t like being left alone for long periods of time, but I am getting used to sleeping in a crate when my rescuer has to go grocery shopping or running errands I do not like to sleep alone although I will sleep in a bed but when it’s time to go to sleep for the night I prefer to sleep under my rescuers neck and anytime she moves I move with her so I need an adopter who wouldn’t mind a Velcro puppy lol I’m very easy going and mellow and I have almost mastered potty training on puppy pads, but my rescuer tells me every day she knows I will be an amazing companion for someone so if you think that’s you, please feel free to reach out to my rescuer and schedule a time to meet me. I will be sad to leave her side, but I look forward to finding my own forever family.
