Well good day, I'm Desmond, a dapper gentleman who found myself in dire straits when I was abandoned with my sibling on someone's porch with our things.... luckily we found ourselves at the home of one of Billy the Kidden Rescue's volunteers, and he leaped into action to get us safely into the rescue!

I was scared at first, but once I knew I was safe, I found my voice and my sweet personality came out! I'm a next-level lovebug, and I will chat with you about alllll the things! I like to be close and I will follow you around, gently meowing to remind you I'm close if I think you have forgotten about me. I like sleeping in cozy spots like baskets, and I am an expert biscuit maker, specializing in cloud biscuits. You heard that right..... I make amazing biscuits out of THIN AIR! You gotta try em.

I'm not sure if I've been around dogs, but I get along well with other cats (with proper introductions, of course). I think I will do well with children as long as they are respectful of my boundaries and know how to be gentle with me. Right now I'm eating, and enjoying, both wet and dry food, and it's clear I'm familiar with Churu treats because I will RUN from wherever I am when I hear one of those open!

I'm still teaching my helpers what kind of toys I like; so far I seem interested in chasing things, and I'd love to spend time with you trying out different toys and games! I definitely like up high spaces like a cat treehouse, and I adore looking out of windows! My tail does a quite dramatic swish to let you know if I've spotted a bird or squirrel.

I hope we can meet soon; it's been a rough month but I'm excited to start the search for my new family, one who will love me forever. In return I'll give you more love and affection than you can even imagine!
