Othello is a gentle, loving soul with so much affection to give. He’s an A+ snuggler and a total sweetheart who just wants to be your loyal shadow. If you're looking for a best friend who’s always by your side—whether for emotional support or to help you finish your cheese—Othello is your guy!
We’re not sure how this amazing pup ended up in the shelter, but what we do know is that he’s incredibly resilient and more than ready to find his forever family. He’s potty trained and already knows several commands like sit, down, and shake! Othello is a smart cookie who would love to keep learning new tricks and becoming the best version of himself.
He walks beautifully on leash and enjoys getting out for walks, but he’s just as happy curled up next to you on the couch. His foster mom says he’s the sweetest boy and doesn’t know a stranger—he loves everyone he meets, both humans and fellow dogs.
Othello is also a pro at knowing which toys are his and which belong to his foster human siblings—proof that he’s not just sweet, but super smart too! This affectionate, social butterfly is always down for a car ride, a cuddle session, or whatever life throws your way.

We will reach out via a text to set up a mutually agreeable time to chat about what you are looking for and your lifestyle.

Meet the Pet
We are hopeful you will connect instantly with one of our Sketchy Mutts, you might even have an opportunity to meet us out and about.
Additional adoption info
If we all agree that a current Sketchy Mutt might be a good fit, we will bring him to your home and introduce him to your dogs, cats, and human family members. If all goes well and everyone (including your animals) is in agreement, you will start a one-week (minimum) trial adoption. We want you to live day in, day out with the dog to see what it would really be like to bring him into your family. If at any point during the trial adoption you decide its not a good match, the dog goes back to his foster home.

We are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs who are at high risk of euthanasia in area shelters, due to behavioral issues, medical conditions, or overcrowding. We are primarily a foster-based organization, although we have the ability to temporarily house dogs in our facility until foster or forever homes can be found.
