My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Pumpkin! This sweet little man was found living outside in the wilds of the country but now he is appreciating the sweetness of domestic indoor living.

Pumpkin is a good snuggler and wants a lap to lounge on. If you lay or sit down near him and pat your chest or lap, he will jump right up and lie down on you while purring softly. He especially loves head and cheek scratches. This is a casual kitty who isn't afraid of thunderstorms and does not get jumpy around loud noises. The last time he went to the vet’s office he walked around like he owned the exam room. In the home setting, he will chat with you occasionally and discuss what he observes through the window.

Pumpkin currently lives with two cats and gets along with them fine. However, he will gladly choose the company of a human over another feline friend. Pumpkin would do well in a home where he could for sure have some every day kitty-on-person snuggle time. This sweet boy is a good little explorer and an athletic jumper. He likes to spend time strolling around the house and gazing at the world through the sliding glass door.

He loves food and eats as if every meal could be his last. Pumpkin would do best with older/teen kids or no kids as he does have limits with what he will tolerate and will give you a meow and mouth your hand if you don't get the hint when he is done snuggling and ready to explore.  As far as dogs, he has not lived with any but as chill as he is, we suspect with a proper introduction that he would make anyone respectful of him a pal.

More about this rescue

A Winning Team

We are a small group of animal lovers who are working together to help facilitate Trap Neuter Release and medical care for animals in need. We are here to help each other help the animals and to partner with businesses, rescues and groups to make the biggest impact.

Our History

Mia (known as “Murderous Mia”) is a rescue cat who came to her mom as a hospice foster with many medical issues. She has overcome a lot of health concerns and in her journey, met a lot of human pals (many of whom are a little frightened of her angsty 4 pd person). She and her pals decided that they wanted to help animals in need. So a group of her people joined together to help do Trap Neuter Release (TNR) to lessen the population and suffering of animals and help cover costs of care for animals in need (dogs, cats, birds... Mia insists on not being specist). She invites all those who want to find a way to help to join her mafia. Her only rules are: 1. the animals come first 2. everyone supports each other and 3. no drama remain calm. The goal is to have fun while we all work together to make life better for the ones we can help.

Animals Are Our Mission

We focus on keeping things positive and supporting each other so that we can be at our best to do the most good for the animals. We strive to collaborate with others and encourage our team to come up with new and better ideas of ways to help and to run with those ideas.
