Toco is a beautiful brown male tabby with white legs and chest. His estimated date of birth is 6/25/2022. Toco is a ball of energy and so much fun to be around! His foster describes him as having a big heart. He loves to be petted and is a great conversationalist—he’ll happily “chat” with you for hours on end. He loves to be up high so he can watch over you but will descend with gusto when you break out the toys! Toco loves his window time and sunbathes regularly. He is a one in a million gentle soul who will bring great joy to his family.
Toco was rescued off the streets of Chicago when a rescue partner stopped to feed him. He adjusted quickly to indoor life and gets along with the other fosters in his home.
Toco gets along well with the other foster cats in his home and does well with children. He especially likes to spend time with his foster sister Lina.

Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.

Interview
Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.

Home Check
We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.
4.
Approve Application
Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

Adoption application is required. If approved for an adoption there is an adoption contract and a $175.00/$400.00 adoption fee. The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
