My story

Sonny Santori was found as puppy. He was under a car, nearly starved, covered in mange and automobile oil. He was taken to the vet and was treated for mange, skin infections and worms of all kinds. He has grown into a handsome, strapping, young man. A beautiful brindle coat is surpassed only by his bright, intelligent eyes.

Sonny loves to run! He is great on a leash and will stay right by your side. One of the local running groups pick him up and take him on their weekly runs. They say he is the best running partner that have ever had!

Unfortunately, Sonny has had hard luck when it comes to forever homes. Twice, he was picked and twice he was left heartbroken. The first one; an unexpected and sudden job change came, and she could not take him with her. With the second, the lady's friend didn't like the attention that she showed Sonny. He told her to choose between and him and Sonny. Sonny lost. Stupid woman!!

Sonny loves everyone He's a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. We don't know how he is with cats or children, as he has not be exposed to them here. His ideal home would be with someone that gives him plenty of exercise. He loves tummy rubs and will snuggle all night long. He is a pit mix and about 2 years old.

Sonny's adoption donation is $150.

Why adoption is a great option

Sonny, a Nashville German Shepherd Dog/Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Cane Corso for sale in Nashville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Cane Corso breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
