Meet Your New Best Friend: Alfalfa!
Are you looking for a curious explorer who also knows how to settle down for a cozy fire-side nap? Meet Alfalfa, a handsome, 9 month old, classic brown male tabby with a heart of gold and a spirit for adventure. Alfalfa is the perfect blend of an active playmate and a gentle companion. While he might take a little time to warm up to new faces, once you’re in his "inner circle," you’ll have a loyal friend for life.
Alfalfa loves to explore every nook and cranny. His favorite spot? The very top of the cat tree, where he spends hours intently watching birds and squirrels - the higher the better! He’s a social butterfly with other pets and is a total fan of his foster brothers (older cats). He even shares a special bond with the small dog who he lives with. Alfalfa isn't a "forced cuddler." He prefers to come to you on the couch when he’s ready for pets or feeling extra relaxed and prefers to have his feet on the ground.
Nothing gets him moving like a colorful plastic spring and balls. He loves to bat them and chase them across the floor and can jump high to snag a feather wand. His agility is unmatched! He is a smart and attentive cat who knows his name when called. If you call him, expect to see a tabby blur running your way. He’s also the ultimate greeting committee—he’ll be right there at the door to welcome you home. Alfalfa is looking for a quiet, adult-only home (or one with older, calm children) where he can feel secure as he gets to know you and can blossom. He would thrive in a house with animal friends; he truly loves the company of other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
