Hello, Northeastern people! I am a sweet little Lady named Sugar. I’m about 6 years old, weigh 13 lbs, and I was one of 8 little Chihuahua/Terrier mixes left behind in a small apartment when our owner went to a hospice facility. Luckily, a neighbor contacted 4 Little Paws, so now all of us are safe and sound in foster homes, getting ready to find forever homes. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to make your acquaintance.

My foster mom says I’m a sweet and chill girl who’s shy at first, but once I’m comfortable, I'm very affectionate. I love neck and ear rubs, sharing kisses, and I make a wonderful snuggle buddy and lap dog. I enjoy exploring the yard, and then I’m ready to nap on the sofa, always preferring to lounge around and keep you company rather than doing anything else. I co-exist nicely with other dogs, but they are not my focus, and I’m not very interested in being another dog's playmate. I am very well behaved and trained to use a potty pad, making me perfect for apartment living. I'm doing great with outdoor potty training, and I walk nicely on a leash. I rarely bark, am good in a crate, and at night, I sleep in a doggy bed in a closed-off space. I’m just a very sweet, calm, and loving little lady looking for a wonderful future.
