Hi! My name is Laika and I am available for adoption.
I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 7/12/25.
I am very smart, affectionate, and motivated to learn! I pick up on new skills quickly and may even be a good candidate for agility training. Because of my history as a stray, I am fearful of other dogs and sometimes strangers, and would be most successful if I have space to build my confidence with minimal stressors - I am not yet ready for the dog park or a home with lots of visitors.
I may be shy at first, but once I trust you, I will be incredibly loving and want to be by your side. Because of my high intelligence and work drive, I would do best with a family who is interested in consistent and energetic training. If you`re looking for a loyal dog with lots of love to give, Laika would be a great fit!
If you decide to adopt Laika, her foster parents would be happy to set you up with some of her toys and bedding to help her transition to your home.
