My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Billy, a handsome, sweet, and sensitive young boy who’s searching for the furever home his heart has been waiting for. Billy was adopted from us as just a tiny puppy with a bright future ahead, but sadly, months later his adopter realized they weren’t a good fit due to his teething ways.
Since coming back, Billy’s shine has dimmed a bit; He’s been an absolute gentleman in the shelter, has had no destruction with any of his toys and blankets, and he loves playgroups and other dogs!
When customers walk by Billy hides in the back causing him to be overlooked. Around staff and volunteers he knows, he is wiggly, sweet, outgoing, and never anything but kind. He just needs someone who understands he’s still a young pup figuring out this big world.
Please don’t overlook him when you see him tucked away. Ask to meet him in a petting room, offer him a few treats, and you’ll see him brighten right in front of you. He walks beautifully on leash, has quickly become a staff/volunteer favorite, and even goes on sleepovers where he earns glowing reviews. Billy deserves a second chance at the life he was meant to have—could you be the one to help him shine again?
