My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to pecan! He is a solid black domestic shorthair, with slightly hooded eyes and very round ears. His hooded eyes can make him look grumpy at times but don’t let his face fool you though, this kitten is sweet as pecan pie! He is 1 of 5 kittens that were found as newborns after a dog spooked their mama. Luckily, after a few days of around the clock care and bottle feeding we were able to catch mama who accepted her babies back. Pecan is the biggest kitten in his litter. With some socializing he has gone from a shy little kitten to a confident young kitty! He can still be a little shy with new people, but warms up quickly. He likes to play, sit on the top of cat trees and especially loves to play with wand toys. Pecan would do best in a home with another young cat or kitten to keep him company and continue building his confidence. Pecan will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Pecan was born in April.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who are trying to make an impact on the feral cat and kitten population in our county. We are also expanding to rescue and foster puppies and dogs. We are foster based and run on donations and support of our community. Our rescued animals are carefully assessed and placed with an experienced foster. All our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We also TNR and have barn cats available too.
