My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pearl is a quiet, gentle cat who loves the company of other cats and is growing more trusting and confident with people every single day. Pearl enjoys being in the same room as her humans, watching every thing they do from a cozy corner. She’s steadily growing in confidence every day and has started enjoying new things, like lounging on the window hammock with her foster siblings. Her favourite spots are quiet hidey beds where she likes to nap, but she’s never far away, especially if you’re in the kitchen! Pearl likes to sit nearby, watching what you’re doing while she waits patiently for her dinner. When it comes to food, Pearl loves all wet food, except for the minced variety and goes bonkers for Tiki Cat or Churu sticks! Pearl loves to play and counts the Catnip Rolls cat toy and her Better Buzz Banana catnip toy as her favourites! But more than anything, Pearl loves her cat friends, especially kittens! She grooms them, plays with them, eats beside them and is very vocal when she’s separated from them. Because of this, Pearl MUST have another confident, friendly cat or kitten friend in her home.

Pearl just showed up at a farm that housed several other cats one day. The employees there felt that she had loads of potential to be an indoor cat and leave the hard outdoor life behind. While she got along well with a tween girl on the farm, she never lived inside. We were able to take her in and prepare her for her forever home at last.

Pearl is making remarkable progress in her socialization journey! She is enjoying life indoors with her cat friends and is discovering that humans can be pretty great, too. Pearl will thrive in a calm home with patient humans who appreciate her shyness and love her for who she is. There’s no doubt that she will be a wonderful addition to the right home as her journey continues.
