Shadow is a stunning tortie girl who was returned to us recently after 8 years in her "forever" home, supposedly because she didn't get along with their new kitten. We feel awful for her and hope she finds a family who appreciates her soon. She doesn't understand why she has been discarded. It's clear she was failed by her first family. Let's find her one who will appreciate her unique charm! She would prefer to be the only cat in the home and would be a fantastic companion for an older person.
She is on the shy side with strangers but is coming out of her (tortoise)shell beautifully. She loves head, chin and ear scritches, but so far is not a fan of being petted down her back. She is a super playful girl.
Shadow is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Cats adopted from the rescue must remain indoor-only pets and must never be declawed. Please apply to adopt at packleadersrescue.com.
