Hello from Ping our beautiful Siamese Snowshoe mix boy. Rescued with his brother Mew # 86231 from a back yard these two will need to find a home together as they are bonded to each other. They are both playful and friendly and enjoy chasing wand toys or laser lights. They actively find games to entertain themselves as well, such as playing hide and go seek in a box or kitty tunnel, running after pingpong balls, or wrestling together. Afternoons find them napping near a window to get some sunshine and view the comings and goings in the neighborhood. Initially they may be the slightest bit hesitant to interact with you but once you get down eye to eye with them and bring out a tuna filet treat all their reservations disappear. You will then be nuzzled and head butted with delight , showing you how much they love you with purrs. Ping and Mew will do best in home with either adults only or older children for their personalities and confidence to continue blossoming. Although they are now living with other foster kitties, they seem to prefer to just have each other as kitty friends. These boys can’t wait to find their forever home with each other and their new human family.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.

To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Kitten Rescue. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary. First, we ask that you complete our Adoption Questionnaire at kittenrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/. You can complete the form online or you may stop by a weekly adoption event to complete form in person. Second, a home visit or a home delivery of the cat or kitten is also required as part of our adoption process.

The Kitten Rescue adoption fee is $150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, and $100 for each additional kitten or cat to the same household ($250 if you adopt a pair). Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.

All of our cats have already been:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccinated – with at least one FVRCP vaccination
Treated for fleas
Dewormed
Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
Microchipped

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
