Hera is a gorgeous, one-year-old pit mix with a sweet and gentle soul. She was recently sprung from the shelter, where she'd been since March, and is currently learning how to be a dog in a home. Since she's still decompressing, her true personality is just beginning to shine, and she's ready to find a forever family who will help her blossom.
This beautiful girl is all about finding a balance between play and snuggles. She loves to run and play outside and is learning to have an off switch inside when everyone is relaxing. She's a pro at crate training, is reliably housebroken when taken out regularly, and is a calm presence in the home—she rarely barks and isn't a jumper. She loves to curl up for a good snuggle and is also ready for an adventure.
While Hera has shown no aggression, she prefers to have her own toys and sticks and would do best in a home with another dog who can handle sharing their toy box. She's been around dog-savvy young teenagers and has done great, but she hasn't been introduced to young kids or cats.
Hera is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and ready to go home! If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to help build confidence and who will fill your life with joy and playful energy, Hera is the one for you.
Hera's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care.
