Merry likes to be part of a pack and looks to the other dogs for guidance and reassurance. She is wary of new people but once she gets to know a person, she is very friendly. She is crate and house trained. She sleeps and eats in her crate. She knows a few basic commands. Walks on a leash but only in the backyard as is to scared to leave the house. She does go to doggie day care once a week and does very well.
She would be best with someone who has German Shepherd experience or who has previously worked with a rescue dog. She needs to be with another friendly dog to feel secure. Excess barking or loud noises scare her. Also you need a tall fence or a secure kennel as she can jump.
