Phoenix is a sweet 1-year 8 month old, 77lb. Male Golden Doodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle mix). He is such a great dog - loves all people and kids - and loves to snuggle and get pets. He gets along great with other dogs as well as cats, and gets excited to play with other dogs. He is house trained and rides well in a car. Phoenix sleeps in his crate quietly all night and is learning the "crate" command. He will follow you around, knows the "sit" command, and just want to please his person. He seems to think he's a little dog and wants to cuddle with you. He is a playful boy and loves to chase a ball and brings it back, and play with his soft squeaky toys, as well as his favorite monkey. He enjoys supervising while you work from home, and binge watch your favorite Netflix shows with you. He has a lot of energy so he needs a family who can be active with him daily, and has a large yard for running and playing. Phoenix doesn't show interest in his foster mom's swimming pool, but does love a romp in the water hose. He walks well on leash, and is learning to sit before crossing the street. He needs someone who can handle a dog his size when going on walks. Doodles have coats that will need brushing every few days to keep the mats at bay, and regular grooming.
