Our adoption fees range from $100 - $500 depending on species,age and breed. For dogs/puppies this covers spay/neuter, microchip, dewormers, flea and tick preventative, heartworm test (only over 6 months of age) and all up to date, age appropriate vaccinations. Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and dewormed. We require an adoption application and a home visit prior to adoption. We schedule meets with approved adopters only, so you must download our PreAdoption Application from our website at www.starfishanimalrescue.com and follow the instructions to email it to us.

Starfish Animal Rescue has been rescuing and transporting cats and dogs from two shelters in Southeast Kentucky. Since Starfish's conception, we have been able to rescue and transport over 10.000 dogs and cats. We are always in need of volunteers, and donations. All of our adoptable pups are in loving foster homes, preparing for their forever home.
