Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🥕 Meet Carrot — six months old, neutered, and basically a tiny orange hurricane of attitude.
This little guy doesn’t do “cute and cuddly” — he does “plotting mischief and judging your life choices.” He’ll swat your hand, ambush your feet, and glare at you like you just interrupted his evil plan… all before breakfast.
Carrot is small, fiery, and fully convinced that every toy, shadow, and human exists solely for his amusement. Adopt him if you’re ready for nonstop chaos, laughter, and a pint-sized brat who thinks he runs the world. 😼💥More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
