Background
Bodhi was rescued from a city pound in Yongin, Korea this spring. Since then he has been living with other dogs at our boarding house.

Personality & Socialization
Bodhi is calm, quiet, and gentle. With a medium to low energy level, he prefers peaceful environments and the simple comforts of being near those he trusts. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those who are gentle and quiet like him, though he’s not one to initiate play. He’d much rather sit beside them and take in the world around him.

When it comes to people, Bodhi can be a little shy at first, but he warms up with time. Once he feels safe, he loves spending time with those he trusts. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t cause any trouble—he’ll quietly come sit beside you and offer the sweetest, most gentle affection. He is more comfortable around women than men.

Behaviour
Bodhi is quiet and well-behaved. He’s not destructive and doesn’t make a fuss. Whether it’s a car ride, a vet visit, or bath time, he handles everything with quiet acceptance although he gets a bit nervous. While he can be a little unsure in unfamiliar settings, he leans into his person’s guidance and trusts easily. He has shown no separation anxiety and enjoys hanging out quietly.

Health & Diet
He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated up to date, and on regular monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has shown no allergies. He is healthy and ready for his forever home.

Ideal Home
Bodhi would be a wonderful match for someone seeking a calm, gentle companion. He thrives in a quiet home with a relaxed pace, where someone has the time and heart to share their day with him. He’d also do well with a senior dog, as he’s respectful and not overly playful. A home with a bit of rescue dog experience and plenty of patience would be ideal.

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance dog who simply wants to be by your side, Bodhi might be the one. He doesn’t ask for much—just love, understanding, and a soft place to rest. Whoever adopts Bodhi will be incredibly lucky.
