My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ahoy! I’m Captain, your future adventure buddy and snuggle partner all in one. If you’ve been looking for a Husky who loves life, car rides, and cuddles, you’ve found me!

Here’s what makes me special:

Housebroken & Crate-Trained: I know my manners.

Human-Lover Extraordinaire: I adore people and will do anything for snuggles. Seriously—HUGE cuddle bug here. I’ll nudge your hand with my snoot if you forget to pet me and tap you with my paw if you try to stop.

Sleepover King: I’ll sleep as long as you do and wake up when you do—with a cute morning howl to start the day!

Adventure Ready: Walks, runs, car rides—I’m in! I do pull at first because I’m excited to go, but I calm down after a few minutes.

Water Enthusiast: I LOVE swimming! I hopped right into the pond at playtime and stayed in like a happy little fish. I also enjoy gardening (especially when hoses are involved—sorry flowers!).

A Few Fun Facts About Me:
✔ I’m so gentle taking treats.
✔ Frozen blueberries are my favorite snack.
✔ I’ll greet you with a low “welcome back” howl when you come home.
✔ I’m the best copilot on car rides—calm and happy to lay down and look out the window.

Things You Should Know:

I’m great with female dogs and warm up to males with proper introductions and companion walks.

I can be protective and get a little jealous if another dog takes my bone or food—I might throw a tiny temper tantrum like the toddler I am.

I haven’t been around cats.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, fun-loving Husky who can cuddle as hard as he plays, that’s me! Let’s make every day an adventure!

More about this rescue

We started this small rescue in rememberance that rescue work is strictly about the dogs. We do our best to help save as many dogs as we can with our limited resourses.

We can always use volunteers and Foster homes to help us accommplish this task. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as well from $5 to $500 and they all go to helping more dogs.
