Pinky is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.

Pinky is a 2-year-old, 16-pound Pug who came to the Houston rescue with her sisters, Estella and Nana, after their previous owners could no longer care for them. She’s raised puppies of her own and is now ready for a life of love, comfort, and a soft place to land—preferably on your lap. Pinky is a sweet, affectionate companion who wants to be
near you as much as possible.

Pinky gets along with all dogs and, once she settles in, even enjoys a little playtime with her canine friends—though she’s selective and tends to jump in and out of the action as she pleases. She’s great in her kennel but may have an accident if left for a full 8-hour day. Like her sisters, she doesn’t play with toys, but give her a soft bed and a cozy lap, and she’s perfectly content. If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly pup who brings just a dash of playful charm, Pinky might be your perfect match.

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
