Bea is a lovely senior yellow lab, possibly a mix. Her owner died and Bea was in the home with the deceased owner for 3 days. A neighbor finally did a welfare check due to Bea's barking and called the fire department. Bea is being fostered very temporarily by another neighbor couple who did not want to see Bea be put down.
Bea is a calm, pleasant dog. She is totally calm around other dogs. She is housebroken and knows basic commands. She may know more, but the foster couple are elderly and have health issues, so they have not investigated her skills too much.
Bea was fed table food by the deceased owner, so she is chubby and needs to lose weight. Now that she is on good food recommended by her vet, Bea has lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks. She still has a bit more to go, but with good consistent exercise, and healthy food, she should be able to slim down.
Bea definitely deserves a new loving home where she will be cared for and appreciated for the fine dog that she is!
