Meet Summer
Summer is about 2 years old, weighs 28 pounds and is a typical happy, playful gal! She is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. She loves treats and belly rubs.

She was rescued near the border of Mexico. We are so happy she is safe with us.

We can see Summer doing well in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime with her family. She is curious and enjoys being held and lap time with belly rubs. She has a fun personality and is very smart.
She enjoys playing with toys and other dogs at the rescue. Summer is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of own!

Summer is located at our rescue in Hondo, TX.

She would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment! She would love having kids to play with, as long as they can handle a very fun happy girl!

Summer is located in Hondo, TX.and is available for transport to Geneva, Illinois on October 18th (GotchaDay!) with approved application and confirmed adoption!
Adoption fee is $450 including transportation costs.

Summer tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
