My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Milka is in a foster home. ***

Milka #19804: orange w/white tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/1/25

Cats: gets along great
Dogs: unknown
Children: late elementary+

BACKGROUND: Milka had a rough start—left in an alley in Otay Mesa along with 19 other kittens, she was rescued just in time. Several rescues helped to take them all in, and this sweet girl found her way into a loving Rescue House foster home. When she arrived, she was sniffling, sneezing, and in serious need of some TLC. But after getting the needed medical care, she’s clean, perky, and very ready to meet her forever family!

PERSONALITY: Milka is the purrfect combo of snuggles and silliness! She is a chirpy social butterfly with a zest for life and a soft spot for lap time. This gentle purring machine loves to stay close—on your lap, next to your leg, or tucked beside you for a cozy nap. When she’s not snuggling, Milka’s on the move: chasing feather wands, batting toy mice, diving into wrapping paper, or turning empty boxes into castles. Milka has plenty of playful energy, followed by dramatic nap flops. She’s also had lots of fun with the 10-year-old neighbor girls—she’s confident, affectionate, and totally approachable.

COMPATIBILITY: Milka gets along great with other cats. She hasn’t met any dogs yet, so we’re not sure how she’d feel about a canine companion. Milka has done well with older children and would likely thrive in a home with respectful kids late elementary-aged and up.

Milka is a sweet, snuggly treat—ready to bring love and laughter to your home!
