BACKGROUND: Oreo had a rough start—left in an alley in Otay Mesa along with 19 other kittens, he and his siblings were rescued just in time. Several rescues helped to take them all in, and Ore’s family found their way into a loving Rescue House foster home. When they arrived, they were sniffling, sneezing, and in serious need of some TLC. But after a bit of medical care and a good bubble bath, they’re now clean, perky, and very ready to meet their forever families!
PERSONALITY: Oreo is the purrfect combo of snuggles and silliness! He’s your classic Velcro kitty. He starts purring the second you scoop him up and likes to stick close, following you from room to room like your fuzzy little shadow. He’s a big fan of feather toys, tunnels, crinkly paper and anything that rolls. He absolutely adores being petted and scratched, and he gives world-class cuddles in return.
COMPATIBILITY: Oreo gets along great with other cats and older kids, ages 9 years and up. He hasn’t met any dogs yet, so we’re not sure how he’d feel about a canine companion. Oreo has done well with older children and would likely thrive in a home with gentle, respectful kids, ages 9 years and older.
