Charlie is a young adult male Siberian Husky that came to us completely emaciated. He was nothing but his own bones and a spirit that wanted to recover and spread love. Through his treatment process, he was found to be heartworm positive and had bilateral ligament tears in his knee joints. He first underwent surgery to fix both of his knees and later heartworm treatment.
Throughout his recovery process, Charlie has remained a positive and happy boy with us here at Redstone. He is apprehensive of medical staff and does require a muzzle at the vet clinic, but he is otherwise very friendly. He can be too much energy for other dogs and does best alone, but we believe he should do well with children. Please no cats or small mammals.
Charlie is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, on heartworm prevention (and has undergone treatment) and is ready for his new home!
