Dexter takes a minute to get to know you, but then he's your best friend. This guy would make a perfect jogging partner or hiking buddy.
Dexter gets along with other dogs with a proper introduction. He is a bit rough and tumble with his playing, so he would need a patient doggy friend. Dexter has been raised around cats and leaves them alone. Dexter can be a bit stand-offish with strangers and needs to be slowly introduced. We strongly encourage adopters to attend a Begining Training Class to help guide them through teaching their pup to be a calm, confident, well-mannered dog. We offer a rebate of $50 on the adoption fee upon completion of a training class. Dexter is going to make some lucky person very happy!
