Meet our very friendly and silly boy named Chipotle, or Chip for short! Chipotle is about 11 months old and he has a very loving kitten personality. He came to our shelter after he was found laying in a parking lot, severely over heated on one of the hottest days we have had this summer. Luckily, our vet staff was able to cool him down and give him fluids to stabilize him. Once Chip was feeling better, he was a super loveable and sweet boy right away with us! Chip can be talkative, he uses his litter box well, and he is a good eater. He will make a family very happy! Chip is good with other cats and he can go to a home with children 8 years old and older.

Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
