If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Lucy, a sweet and playful 9-month-old rescue pup looking for her forever home! Her mom (a Husky) was taken in by a rescue and gave birth the very next day, and we’ve been caring for Lucy ever since.
She is fully vetted and ready for her new family — up-to-date on vaccines, receives monthly heartworm prevention, spayed, microchipped, and potty trained. She knows basic commands like sit and stay, walks great on a leash, loves fetch, and is always up for snuggles.
Lucy currently lives with three other dogs and thrives with companionship. Ideally, she’d love a home with another friendly dog or a human who isn’t gone long hours, though she could do well solo too with the right routine and engagement.
She is a mixed-breed girl (DNA results included), weighs about 42 lbs, and photos show her as both a baby and now.
Lucy is truly a happy, affectionate, and smart girl — she deserves a family who can continue giving her love, attention, and consistency.
