Gordy came to the shelter as a young cat with little socialization, but he’s made progress and is learning to trust people. He now enjoys gentle petting and would make a great indoor mouser. Gordy would do best in a calm, quiet home without small children. He and his buddy Gorgonzola share a close bond and look out for each other—if you’re looking for a pair, they’d be the perfect duo. Gordy is still a bit shy, but with patience and love, he’ll continue to grow into an affectionate companion.

All pet adoptions are subject to approval by SPCA staff.
An adoption application must be completed, followed by a screening and interview/counseling process. Adoption requirements are listed on the application.
We perform a fence check for most dogs and a vet check for all current pets. All current pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations.
